OMMAG is a NGO kind of network made up of different people who are likely to observe cetaceans around Guadeloupe island's.
Observations are passed by email or by phone, joining one of the supervisors in the association(contact list).
The observatory is then in charge of collecting, categorizing, analyzing.
The data is useful in making us aware of the profusion, the distribution and identify species by picture ID.
All data is then available and given to sanctuary of French West Indies waters: AGOA.
OMMAG’s ethical code is very clear : these datas and pictures will only be shared and used only for scientific or educational in charge of protecting and respecting wildlife.
